Work From Home Companies
Plenty of companies advertise opportunities as a work at home company. A minority of these are truly legitimate. And even fewer are anything you’d be remotely interested in. When you peruse the home based job listings, look at them closely. If you see words like “make money fast” or “easy money,” you can be guaranteed that that money is neither fast nor easy. You’ve heard the saying that there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Well this especially holds true for a work at home company. Companies Offering Work At Home Be wary of a work at home company that requires you to pay money in order to make money. While there are some very legitimate businesses that do require you to pay a start-up fee for supplies in order to get started, as a general rule jobs that require you to pay money to work for them aren’t worth doing. Be especially cautious of jobs that require you to recruit new members in order to make money. If a work at home company places more emphasis on recruiting new members to work under you rather than an emphasis on selling a product or service, that company is a pyramid scheme and is illegal in most states. Look for ads that offer free work at home company positions. Find something that truly interests you and that you think you can stick to. Free home based jobs can run the gamut from sales positions to telemarketing to computer repair to piano lessons to advertising and creating brochures for companies. Many companies today want to hire individuals to telecommute, because it often saves them money on office space and additional personnel. A work at home company can be a very real and very good opportunity. Marketing Research Companies Who Hire Work At Home Workers There are some different types of companies looking for work at home company representatives that are very legitimate. For instance, many companies, law firms, courts and government agencies hire people to transcribe materials for future use and for official records. These are very legitimate jobs, and you can make a good living out of transcribing materials for organizations. However, be wary of ads you see on the internet for home based typing jobs and the company wants you to pay a fee up front to purchase its how-to manual or guide of how to get started with a career of typing at home. These firms don’t have an interest in hiring you at all; they just want to sell you a how-to guide. |
